Assesses the relevance of at least two of the classic thinkers’ (Clausewitz, Sun Tzu, Mahan, Douhet) work to modern military strategy and the expansion of national security conflicts into domains beyond their primary subject of interest. (i.e. Does Clausewitz still have something to teach in the age of Cyberwar? Does war in space validate Mahan or Corbett, or serve as an extension of airpower theorists?)
choose 2-3 thinkers and present their theories and how their theories still persist today. (i.e., how clausewitzian thought about defense applies to US national defense strategy, and how theories on controlling the sea domain could apply to controlling the space domain).
