At the beginning of my practicum, I have to admit, I had rose-coloured glasses on. I considered and predicted the transition of conventional agriculture to regenerative agriculture, for the purpose of addressing global food insecurity, and sustainability to be relatively effortless. Rationalizing that it is due to a lack of awareness and knowledge on the subject of regenerative agriculture that the movement has not gained global attention, and support. Moreover, I wanted to see farmers farming because of a passion, and love for the land, founding their actions on ecology science.
