In the early 1900’s people were often judged unfairly because of the color of their skin or their disabilities. There was a lot of racism back then, and we still face some of those challenges right now. What we all need to realize is that we can’t judge a person by their characteristics and that everyone deserves a fair chance at least once. In the novel, How to Kill a Mocking bird there was a man and his name was Atticus Finch. He was so kind brave and intelligent. He believes all should be created equal and he believed in racial equality.
