What is an instance of “social grace” and what is the importance of thinking more about “social grace?

In Psalm 139 it says, “I praise you, my G-d; so wonderfully you made me; wonderful are your works!” Paul in his letter to the Romans, writes: “For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I do.” Utilizing Roger Haight’s chapter, “Sin and Grace” in Systematic Theology (pg 377-429), tell me how both Scriptural passages underscore important aspects of human existence. What is the one insight from Haight that you found particularly compelling? Why? What is an instance of “social grace” and what is the importance of thinking more about “social grace?”
